The biggest two are controversial and negative posts. It amazes me to see so many people miss this point, and as a result limit their chances of success in building both their online brand and business.
The reality of the matter is that fortune 500 companies don’t do this, and they spend millions on marketing, and neither should you. When a person who may be slightly interested in buying your product or service, sees both negative and controversial information on your profile or page, it paints a negative image.
I mean would you want to join someone in business if half the stuff you see on their news feed was negative, controversial, or filled with drama? Probably NOT!

In a world filled with so much negativity it’s better to be beacon of hope, and positivity rather than just another person caught up in all of today’s drama. Now don’t get me wrong, we are all human beings and have our personal opinions that differ from others, however mixing your personal views on today’s hot topics with business is a recipe for disaster.
It creates incongruency in your brand and sends mix messages to your target market. So if you have found yourself in the past or are currently plastering your social media profiles with drama, controversy, and negativity… STOP IT!
It’s never too late to change your output and attract the kind of people you want to buy from you or join you in business. Your brand is a very important commodity, and you must treat as so. When people think of you, you want their thoughts to positive and uplifting.
Remember people do business with people who they LIKE and TRUST.
