The reason I ask this question is because I see a lot of talented home based business owners who mean well, brand their company and never do anything to stand out from the crowd.
I mean just as I’m writing this blog post I have someone who I just accepted a connection request from via LinkedIn, send me a copy and paste link to an opportunity, not knowing if what they’re offering provides any value or solution to me at this point in my life!
I totally sense their excitement about what they represent, however what real value have they offered me, when my social media inboxes get plastered with this kind of stuff EVERY single DAY?
How are they any different from the other spammers who represent numerous mlm companies?
If you currently find yourself branding your mlm company, I get it! You don’t know what you don’t know. However after you read this article, you will have a better understanding on how building a personal brand will help you in the long run!

They provide solutions to people in their target market through value based content in the form of articles like this one, videos, podcasts, ebooks, and live events. They provide so much free value to their target audience, that when they market a new product, it sells out in a matter of hours, if not minutes! They are trusted authorities in their niche and people flock to buy their stuff!
They learned how to market their self and as a result are their own personal brand. This opens up other doors for them to do joint ventures, be keynote speakers at other events, cross sell other products, and maximize their income potential. They have embraced entrepreneurship and aren’t tied to any one thing.
As an entrepreneur in the home based business industry, it’s a smart idea to adopt the same strategy! When you lead with value and find ways to help people find solutions to their problems through content, you will always win. Instead of concentrating on making the next sale, you should focus on building a relationship with those you attract. This is what most networkers miss!
People do business with whom they like and trust. And as the industry continues to evolve it’s up to you as an entrepreneur to elevate your skill sets and embrace what you do, by offering your best to every potential prospect that comes your way!
